The Clwydian Creatives are a group of Artists and Crafters based in Flintshire and Denbighshire, North Wales. Each year, we organize the Clwydian Creatives Art Trail, a free open studios event where visitors can engage with artists, witness live demonstrations, and find inspiration. Participating studios will welcome you to discuss their artwork and offer insights into their creative process. This event provides a unique opportunity to delve into the behind-the-scenes world of art, ask questions, gather tips, and ignite your own creativity.
The studios are located in various venues, including private homes, community halls, and purpose-built studios. If you require directions or access information, kindly contact the individual studios. To plan your Art Trail route, refer to the chart and trail map.

History

The Clwydian Creatives Art Trail has become a significant artistic event since its formation in 2021 by Sharon Wagstaff and Carol Udale. This trail emerged as a response to the end of the Helfa Gelf Art Trail, which had been a prominent art event in North Wales for more than a decade. While the Clwydian Creatives Art Trail is focused on the regions of Flintshire and Denbighshire, it has consistently grown and prospered each year. This art trail has effectively filled the void left by its predecessor, attracting artists and art enthusiasts alike. With its increasing popularity, the Clwydian Creatives Art Trail has demonstrated its ability to endure and thrive, making it a must-see for anyone interested in experiencing the vibrant art scene of North Wales.
